I miss...

I remember sitting constantly playing games on my Saturn/Dreamcast, GTA 1+2 as well as the Original Command and Conquer :D

Only problem being, you can't get them without a ps1(which I no longer have!). I doubt they even sell them anymore.

Actually you can download them on the ps3 or psp, they will work on a ps2 as well.

i still play ff7/ff8 on my pc/ps2. i love the old classics. but i will never forget turning on my ps1 for the first time to hear that unforgettable sony chime, and to play Firestorm - Thunderhawk 2 for the first time. that game owned. i was like   at the graphics lol. ah memories.

Charity shops, thats what you want! Them and 2nd hand stores, I remember picking up my ps1 for £30 at a parpy second hand store, with FFVII for £8....that was in 2001 :o

id hate to work out how many hours i spent on my ps1 :o

i remember when it first came out my spoilt cousin got one , we spent hours playing ridgggggge raccccer and tekken gfx where just wow

its all about the PSPs PSX emulation

the most memorable game i played was resident evil when it came out on the saturn in 1997, tried playing it a few years back and it just looked pants :(

MW

You want to try the remake on the Gamecube, much improved. Then you can also play RE4 if you haven't already :)

Try Gamestation for old PS1 games! I am borrowing a PS off my girlfriend at the moment playing on classic games :D

Some things are definitely best left alone. If you played those games again, you most likely would not be able to stand the poor graphics, spoiling it all. I had a quick shot on Gran Turismo 1 the other day, purely out of nostalgia - the sloooow fps and the graphics killed it for me ><

I could quite happily sit down and play GT2 again, me and mate are always deleting the old saves and redoing it, Easily my favourite console racer, despite its ageing graphics!

My Playstation 1 is still running fine, more than i can say for my PS2...

So many absolutely brilliant multi-tap games for PS1 that if me and a few mates decided to have a games/beer night the Playstation 1 would always take prescedence over the PS2 even when it was working!

It's all about the Circuit Breakers, Gravitation, Micro Maniacs, V-Rally 2, etc etc 4 player action. :D

Had an awesome cover disc from a Playstation magazine which had a Net Yaroze games collection on it. Probably play that more than anything else.
