I was doing some HD video editing last night on Power Director 8, But during the encoding it stopped and said "Out of memory". It encodes the whole 10 mins of video at lower resolution but not HD.

I have an Asus P5Q Deluxe with a Q9550 Cpu.
4GB of DDR2 800mhz RAM Unbranded. So i'll chuck that. lol

So I now need 8GB of RAM,

I've read many people have problems with 8GB of RAM because of the voltages, But i won't be overlocking so it should be a little easier.

The choices seem endless..

Can anyone recommend Any for my 4 DIMM Slots..

Thanks.

I have a P5Q Premium with 8Gb of cheapish RAM (4x2GB sticks) and it runs fine at stock
I also have a P5Q-E with 8GB of OCZ Platinum 1066 RAM running at 890Mhz for 445 FSB (33 and a bit% overclock) and it's fine too.

Don't think you'll have any problems with any retail RAM you buy from OCUK if you aren't overclocking.
Don't think you'd have any issues with that motherboard as it's a goodun.

Ideally go for some DDR2 8500.

I've gone for 2 sets of these.

G.SKILL PK 4GB (2X2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT.
