Hi there guys I need a case for a computer that I will be building next week. It will be coupled with the following

INTEL conroe E6300 (stock FAN i won't be overclocking)
BFG 7600GT
WD 250g SATA (and my 120gb ATA hdd)
dvd-r pioneer 109
2x1gb geil RAM
Asrock Conroe945G-DVI

I need a good case thats gonna run both quiet and cool. Bearing in mind I will be using the computer for rendering and downloading I need a case that will stay cool, but I also need the case to come with a PSU as i'm trying to keep the budget down.....Any ideas??

so far the budget has come to £496.97 (INC VAT)

so I would like to keep the case price down so as to keep the budget under £550 INC VAT......

Any thoughts please ?

£50 for the most important part of a computer, no chance mate.

You NEED a good PSU, they are the main cause of instability you will get if its not up to scratch. If a cheap one blows then it will take your whole rig down with it, an expensive one will not.

£50 on the PSU and then £30 on the case is a more realistic budget, although you could go with one of the Antec combos of 380w ATX 2.0+ as they should fit the bill just about.

Ok kool thanks. I was trying to keep the budget down, but hey never mind :)

I was thinking about the Antec Sonata II. I assume that with this coming with a smartpower PSU it will do the trick. I always have the opportunity of upgrading later, am I correct in assuming this is a good case, and the supplied PSU is the shiznit for me :) ?

You can't really go wrong by buying an Antec case that comes with a PSU.

Antec PSUs are generally very good quality and amongst the best out there :)

How about the P150, a good quiet case (although the looks leave something to be desired :( ).

I'm running an x2 4400 @100% 24/7 using

120mm amber @ 5v (cpu cooler)
acoustifan dustproof at 5v (output)
nexus 92mm @ guess what? 5v ;) (input)

Its pretty much silent, its in my room and the loudest part of the machine is my zalman GPU cooler which again is at 5v.
