I need a good dry rub steak recipe

Despite my best efforts on all my regular websites, I've been unable to find a good recipe for a Southern-style dry rub.

I'd ideally like something quite sweet with a bit of a kick (think cinnamon and peppers) and already have some chipotles in the house.

Steak will be seared off medium-rare as the cow-gods intended it.

Any recommendations?

You've seen that Knorr advert where Marco Pierre White mashes a Knorr stock cube with olive oil and rubs it all over the steak? DO NOT DO THAT. It will be absolutely disgusting and so salty you won't be able to eat it

American's may get knocked for their food but meat is something they can nail! I did some bits from here at the weekend and it was awesome.

i cheat and use a jar of pepper steak rub made by schwarz, makes a tasty steak.

If you would like to add the full 8 tablespoons and you are not worried about the size of your fanny, by all means add the entire amount!!
