well im after a graphics card since as though mine decided to go bang,

i want one thats better than the 8800gt, more stable aswell, i remember when i first got my 8800gt i had to go out and by a new cooler straight away because of all the overheating problems, and i want to spend around 100 (i can push it up if neccesary), and allso it needs to be able to fit in the Asus P5K premium motherboard, im abit slow lately on the whats good whats not so i need abit of advice.

cheers

I was looking at "Point Of View GeForce GTX 260 Premium Exo" as well but still not sure if it's the 55mm version. Can anyone verify this please?

Yep, that card is around double the performance (or more) in most games of your old 8800 GT so a nice upgrade. Many users do the same upgrade path or similar to it.

So for your budget, choose either the 4870 or GTX 260

It says so in the description ..... :p

nah its still around the price, i would go upto 130ish, and i would like to stick with Geforce, allways been a Geforce fan :)

i was looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-118-OK

but i havnt seen any reviews on it yet, anyone know if thats much of a upgrade to the 8800gt ? and is it reliable, meaning i wont have to spend money on a new cooler

Very good card, will smoke your current GT.

It's £20 more than that 4870 that was linked to you, and it performs roughly the same. Would you want to pay that much extra just for NVidia?
