I need a greenhouse

Not too clued up on them. B&Q ones seem reasonably priced but are they good quality.

Anyone on here got any experience with them?

Bought a B&Q one 9 years ago, had no problems with it

Only thing to watch is the base is usually extra, and there are usually two grades of glazing - plastic and horticulture glass

Depends what you're growing and how much space you have.

Poly-tunnels are excellent, damn sight cheaper and easier to maintain.

Yeah base can come as a shock. Got a shed in and the base was the same as the price again.

Plastic is fine, and probably a good idea if you want to put your GH near your boundary (stops kids breaking the glass by throwing things at it!) and also if you have children yourself - kids and glass, bad idea!

Yea plastic is better, glass can go wrong in high wind trust me

I have a palram 8x6 with plastic instead of glass.

Never again! I have had to gaffa tape the panels in as they have blown out in gusty wind several times. Also the door was ripped off and buckled in the last gale.

My Dad has a toughened glass greenhouse and its never been an issue with the same winds.
