I need a laptop

Cheap as poss. It's just really for my OU coursework.

All I need it for is MS Office, internet browsing and watching DVD's. 13-15inch screen, decent battery life, and wi-fi.

I'm ok with desktop pc's, but I really know nothing about laptops. Do most laptops have ssd's now to boost boot up times?

You wont find SSD's in the majority of laptops only the higher end ones have them (Much better to put you're own ssd in)

Just about anything would work for what you need I'd suggest though and I3/i5/A6/A8

You want something half decent to last awhile. 4gb of ram is plenty any more than that is a bonus.
