My mum and dad are looking to fly to austrailia around the 16th Dec returning around the 8th Jan.

Can anyone find flights for less than 1k per person.

Gets way more expensive going to Cairns, most are via Tokyo or Sydney and then internal flight. Cheapest I can find for that is about £1200. Can get to Sydney for about £1000 then sort your own internal flights?

www.virginblue.com.au are the equivalent of easyJet I think
