I need a mic!

I know this should probably go in General Hardware, but I figured I might get better answers in here as most people use mics for gaming.

Anyway, I feel the need to scream at people while playing L4D, so I need a mic.

The cheapest one I can find on OcUK is a £15 Logitech one (unless I'm missing something?), which is a bit more than I really want to pay.

I don't want a headset as I've already got some good headphones that I want to use, so I just need a decent, but cheapish mic, nothing fancy.

Recommendations?

I've got an Elara clip-on microphone. Its quite sensitive. Got it stuck on the front of my monitor. Can be bought for less than a fiver.

I picked up a tescos own desktop mic for £2.97 and its doing me just fine for L4D Lan sessions.

I have an Elera mic as well. Cheap and does the job just fine.

Do bad mics even exist? I bought some £3 mic off ebizzle and haven't had any trouble with structural or audio quality.

My brother got a mic back in 1998. I inherited it off him about 5 years ago. Still works fine. A bit more noise maybe then the "high-end" mics but tbh so long as you can hear me yell "Spy behind you heavy!!" then that's all I worry about.

Think I'll go for this from the 'bay:

I've got a mic port on the side of my keyboard so it can just go straight into that.
