Been offered a job for my dads company, Involves 30,000 miles per year.

He wants to buy a *New* car, or under 6 months old.

Doesn't matter if its an import, such as motorpoint.co.uk

Needs:

- Under £10,000 (imports are a lot cheaper, although I realise 10k will restrict me)
- Capable of all of motorway driving
- DIESEL (economic)
- NEEDS TO BE AUTOMATIC ( dad will occasionally need ot drive the vehicle and can only drive Autos)

Pefer (not compulsory)

- Would like a bit of power
- Looks pretty good - sporty

For 10k? New or less than 6 months old?

Err... even a base model Kia Rio 1.5 CRDi is £9295 list, and that's not automatic, or any good.

Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI 105PS Ambiente with DSG - £14200
Seat Leon 2.0 TDI 140PS Stylance with DSG - £15700
VW Golf 1.9 TDI 105PS Match with DSG - £15800

Anything that's remotely suitable is miles away from your budget, basically.

They don't do an automatic diesel Fabia...

And I really, really wouldn't want to do 30,000 miles a year in a supermini.
