Fair enough if you want to be someone that bases their purchases and further recommendations on the opinion of a very select few others. Not even mentioning the amount of times that a positive preview has resulted in a poor review...
at first i couldnt get my head round it and wrote it off. i slowly started to return to it and one day something clicked, it all made sense. (i had a similar experience with the tony hawks games on pc and ps2).
stick with the one character until it starts to make sense (i chose the first lady). if you find yourself button jabbing then you not playing the game correctly. its about the timing and physics, which is executed very well.
im by no means a fighting game expert. the last fighting game i played properly was international karate on the amiga. so in my un-educated, latest next-gen fanboy-ish opinion, i feel its well worth a try.
