Bit bored at the moment, so I need a new game. I'm ideally looking for a management game, something nice a slow paced to play when I'm not in the mood for a FPS. Something along the lines of Rollercoaster Tycoon or Theme Hospital.

Was actually thinking of picking up RC3 on steam, since I've played no.1 and 2 to death.

Tropico 3 and 4 are very nice management games. More God games, perhaps, but not like Sim City or Cities: Skylines. You manage the environment on a much finer scale, more like you do in Theme Hospital, but blown up over a whole island.

Some fantastic Latin guitar music as well helps set the more mellow pace. Highly recommend both. Tropico 5 is okay too, but I didn't find it an improvement over 4 and I think you can pick 4 up for a pittance these days.

I would recommend either Rimworld or Prison Architect.

You can (and should) pause both games while making decisions.
Although they share the same graphics set, they are made by different developers and play very differently.

Rimworld is still in alpha, but you can't tell. It seems more complete than a load of other management games, and the content is mind blowing while still being easy to handle.

And Prison Architect as a management game is just perfect.

Recently been playing back thru dungeon keeper (the original bullfrog game not the ea disgrace) as it was free on origin and id lost my cd.

Fantastic classic game and still probably in my top 3 best ever games
