I have been using this just recently http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-000-CY&tool=3 with a roccat kone V2 and its just not working out for me, it does not seem to track so well all the time. Sometimes movement gets stuck and im struggling in fps. My last surface was cloth an old cheap one but i got use to it with a razer diamondback. Im after a new cloth mouse now to because i think this surface does not go with my mouse properly. I have 10£ im after a mouse pad that suits normal to low sensitivty users.

Been using a Roccat Kone v2 on a boogiebug for the past coupla months.
More than happy with it and I won't be moving back to elcheapo mouse surfaces ;)

What about the razer goliath? i have heard these mats are good, not sure if a speed or control would suit me though? i like to play with low to medium sensitvity in games.

I can only afford a tenner on a mouse now just remember a bill lol. Is the razer goliathus any good? i had a standard cloth mouse which was decent, but wasa fool and threw it away and though this pad i got in my OP would be better when its awfull for FPS. I am not sure if i should buy the speed or the control, and what is the omega one like?

Ok i think im going to get the razer goliathus but like i have said i am not sure of what the differences are between the control and speed and not sure if the rather goliathus omega is worth a go. I like to play games with low to medium sensitivity in games. my dpi is 800 for my mouse.

Ah, I see. When you said "I can only afford a tenner on a mouse now ", you meant a mouse mat. I thought that was a tenner for a mouse in addition to a tenner for a mouse mat.

I've been using the alpha speed for over a year with my deathadder and love it, it's really smooth and big enough for the low sensitivity I use.
My mat had become really worn recently and I accidentally and somewhat stupidly ordered the control version thinking it was the one I already had - The controls surface is heavily textured, hundreds of small cavities cover the surface and make for a quite strange feeling.
Overall I didn't notice any tracking problems but it just felt far too rough for me, nothing like the smooth glide on the speed version; so I returned it.
Hope that helps :)

Does the speed have a lot of control to it? i would like a surface that is not all over the place when gliding with low sensitivity. Anybody got a roccat taito paired with a roccat kone? whats it like is it got not control and is the roccat kone stable gliding?

It has plenty of control in my opinion, more so than a steelseries qck which I tried.

Just order a razer goliathus speed edition, argh i hope i am making the right choice, i just hope it works well with my roccat kone, bit paranoid about this. Its because i spent 20 quid on my current mouse pad with turned out to be a terrible buy.
