I need a PSP Repaired...

Hi all,

I have a friend here who has cracked the LCD Screen on his PSP.

Could anyone recommend a place to get this sorted?

If its the screen its probably gonna be more cost effective to buy a new one?

Try contacting Sony, they must have a repair service.

Not so, you can get replacement screens for about 20 quid which are provided with fitting instructions. Make sure you get a complete unit including the backlight already assembled as it makes fitting so much easier, just a case of removing the old screen, disconnecting two ribbon cables, and the reverse to refit. The biggest problem is making sure not to tear the new ribbon cables upon installation as they are quite fragile. If you do, you will end up with interferance on the new screen.

Are you sure that it's the actual screen and not the plastic case which is cracked? I'm not saying you don't know what you're doing - just double checking.

Try googling GT Electronics they are UK based and repair all consoles & handhelds,sorry i can't give you a direct link as they advertise a competitor on there front page.
