I am thinking of buying a Samsung LE23T51B HD Ready LCD TV, but I have no idea on the specifications that I should really be looking at for these, so any help would be most appriciated.

It's a good choice, don't think there is anything better around for the same money. Only similarly specced alternative is the LG

i heard that not all HD Ready tv's will have the necessary plugs/sockets to take full advantage of the xbox 360/PS3?
