My bedroom is a loft conversion but the windows have no blinds. Makes using the computer during summer days a pain in the backside. I can't afford the ridiculous prices they charge for blinds for my type of windows and apparently you need to know the exact make & model anyway, which I don't.
So I've decided to make use of some materials I have lying around to make a rail channel for a cardboard sheet, which can be slid in and out by hand. I need some means of attaching the plastic (U-shape) rails to the wooden window frames. I want to be able to remove my work without damaging the frame, when/if the time comes. So I was thinking of some double-sided tape strong enough to hold the rails+cardboard but that won't damage the wood/finish.
Help?
