I have a small second TV in our conservatory and want to make more use of it. At the moment it's hooked up to an Xbox 360 and that's it. I want to be able to play iPlayer/4OD etc. and stream 1080p MKV/AVIs from my Synology NAS. I know the Xbox can play iPlayer but it's a horrible interface.

Any recommendations on something small and cheap that will do that, I'm guessing something like the WDTV would fit my needs?
 
Raising this from the dead...

Reading about Now TV it appears it may struggle with converting 1080p MKV's? Unless my NAS can convert it prior to that?

WDTV now doesn't have iPlayer?

I'm also thinking of using one for the main 1080p TV in the living room.
