Fellow OCUK'ers

I'm in quick need of a suit for next week for my dads funeral.

I've got a few suits already but i haven't got an all black one which is what i want for a funeral.

Where can i get a decent one with out spending over £80, Bearing in mind i need a largeish size.

Waist 38-40
Chest 48-50

Sorry for your loss.

I'd head to M&S and see what you can get - generally a pair of trousers and a jacket starts at about £80 - but I reckon you can get a decent black suit for around £110.

Maybe - but I'd go M&S though, their suits are pretty hardy and won't fall apart after wearing a few times. Not that I'm saying you want to use it for funerals, but a black suit is fairly generic if worn with different shirt / tie combo.

Sorry to hear about your loss, I know what its like for you at this moment in time, my dad past away just over a month ago.

Another vote for M&S and from what I've seen they have a good range too. Well they do in my local superstore.

Slater Menswear Birmingham will have the best selection for your size/budget. They will alter a 48-50 suit to take the waist into your size, as pretty much no off-the-peg suit will fit you.

I bought a fantastic suit in Debenhams recently for £100, discounted from £230. They had masses of suits in the sale there :)

M&S have always done me fine for suits. I had to return the trousers on one suit because the zipper broke, same thing happened three times before I got a good pair.
Saved me a bunch of dry cleaning :p

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Tesco do pretty good suits for the price, next step up is M&S as mentioned.
