Hi,

For work I'm going to need a video camera to film some promotional stuff with models (to give you an idea of what it is going to be used for. ie quite close. mostly indoors, sometimes outdoors). This is going to be long term, so going to buy not rent.

Looking to spend up to around £200 or so.

I have no idea what to look for though. Are there any features or things I should look out for?

I know I want full 1080p, and will need a microphone too. The audio isn't essential (I defintely need audio, but it doesn't have to be great quality) and will mostly be shot inside - should I get an external microphone? I've heard they make the sound quality a LOT better?

Also we might shoot some promotional photos. we have a dslr, but no lights or whatever. Do you think they are worth getting? Can someone recommend some?

Is there any good resource on the net for shooting video/photos (specifically with models)?

thanks
