Hi to all the members of this forum,
after several years of using an asus vw222u I decided to change monitors for personal reasons. I have a budget of 500 - 600 €. I have a gtx 1080 xtreme gaming video card and I would like to take full advantage of the card and the budget.
Requests:
Gaming monitor, IPS panel, 144 or 165 Hz G-Sync or G-Sync Compatible, Resolution 2560x1440, 8 Bit or 10 Bit, <1 ms of lag
Questions:
Sorry for the long post but I think the rush to buy is a wrong move and therefore I ask for your advice.
I thank you in advance and look forward to your opinions.
Best regards,
hitmanboy47

Questions:
- Is there a noticeable difference in performance between a G-Sync and a G-Sync Compatible? This is what worries me most.
- Among the Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ, LG 27GL850, which Aorus AD27QD can meet my needs? And if not, what other monitor do you recommend?
- I noticed that IPS panels have a poor contrast. Has this scarcity ever given you any problems?
- Models like the PG279Q or XB271HUbmiprz are interesting and are respectable but aren't obsolete by now? Or am I wrong?
- Or maybe it's better to aim for a top in full hd?
