Hi! I saw an advertisement in a shop and I really want the position. It said to get an application form, fill it in and give it back in store with a covering letter. It said nothing about a CV. Now i'm thinking, would it be a good idea to chuck in my CV in there too?

So far this is how covering letter looks.

Dear (The persons name - which I have),

I am responding to the advertisement for a customer service assistant that was placed in the advertisement board. I am extremely interested in the position and would like to be considered for the role.

I am an enthusiastic, self motivated individual that can adapt to many working environments. I have experience with working in groups or as a self sufficient individual. I am a keen learner with a drive to succeed.

Please find enclosed a completed application form and a copy of my CV and a hope it is of interest to you. I am available for an interview at your earliest convenience.

Yours sincerely,

eXSBass (obviously my full name here)

Thanks for any advice.

'on' instead of 'in' the advertisement board

of working in groups

"and a hope it is of interest to you" I hope, personally i would ditch this though. Sounds desperate

I wouldn't use the word "individual" twice in 2 sentences, looks a bit like you lack vocabulary skills. Other than that, definatley put your CV in there.

Cheers! I actually "properly" proof read it. Found loads of errors in it!
