SW:TOR was a really good game till you got end game pvp set.....there is no endgame content at all
I need an MMO...

Nothing wrong with Rift, its always an option. I gave it 20 or so lvls on a free trial a few months back and i dont have a single bad thing to say about the game except (and slightly obviously) it reminds me a lot of WoW, not a bad thing but its just the taste i was left with at the end.
Man how many more of these threads need to be made? Lol.
I would recommed DC Universe Online. It's free to play and does have a very solid player base. Many people who have moved over from WoW or LoTRO will tell you that the combat system is what drew them to it. But hey, it won't be to everyone's cup of tea, but give it a go and see what you think. I have created a thread, but too lazy to post it here lol.

Tera isn't a bad an MMO, combat system is fantastic but it is rather 'grindy'.
Rift is a good bet and the new expansion that is coming soon looks absolutely fantastic, adding in loads of content.
Personally i'm waiting for GW2 which is shaping up to be a great MMO.

Well I went for TOR after it was mentioned a few times here. I googled around and it seems VERY story driven. I get 30 days free play and I am not all that concerned about end game content.
As long as I get a few weeks out of it, thats all I need
Plus, I LOVE star wars haha.

I have to say I thought the story line was fantastic and the levelling from 1-50 was possibly one of the best i've had of an MMO.

Not had any issues with them to be honest, aside from this one... Been over 12 hours and no code
Actually downloading KOTOR 1+2 as we speak! Both for decent prices on Steam. 2 of my fave games of the last console generation!

So what about the various operations, world bosses and other achievements to chase, not to mention normal PVP, world PVP and ranked WZ's if you get bored of PVE.
Recently gone back to lord of the rings online.
Tried Tera, wasn't my cup of tea hated the art style, the mobs sucked and the gameplay was in general a bit dog imo.
Rift, was ok the rifts were amazing but not enough to keep me coming back, also the game felt overly simplified on a lot of levels. Felt like a "my first mmo" sort of thing.
WoW, done the trial lots of times its never hooked me.
Also I've enjoyed eve online and guild wars in the past, eve I felt I wasn't really grasping everything it was a bit too intellectual for me. Guild Wars I've played to death apart from nightfall, but can't face it.
Also I loved Warhammer Online, everyone bashes it I thought it was wonderful. Loved the graphics, the art, the emphasis on pvp is something I loved.
Hmm maybe I should try another mmo with lots of pvp, darkfall online? Perhaps.
