currently using a gigabyte P35-DS4 rev1.0

i need a board that does SLI, dont need overclocking in mind, stability and speed are the key factors im looking for but the one most important feature is cooling, must run cool, dont need it to be quiet

what could you recommend with that in mind? i want to buy today so need some recommendations soon as possible :)

dont want to be spending too much but recommend me anything and ill see what i think

EDIT: oh and a tuniq tower 120 has to be able to fit on it

best SLi boards at the moment are the reference boards from XFX & EVGA or my favourite the MSI P7N Diamond

the MSI P7N looks good, im quite tempted by the prospect in upgrading my soundcard at the same time as well

damnit, can tell you work at the shop, tempting me to spend more money :p

dont feel like putting the EVGA on this week only do you scotti? knock it down to £150inc or something for me? ;)

i agree with Scott. I have the MSI and it's a good board.

TBH, i would just stick with one card and not bother about SLi. Theres a lot more heat if you don't have the right cooling. I got rid of one of my GTX's and everything is so much cooler.

well im going to need a new board eventually anyway, i was thinkign of SLIing 2 8800GTS's as i already have a gts 320mb, and thought "well there cheap in the MM" but ive since gone and ordered an 8800GT

decided not to go for SLI for now, though i do definately want a new board sometime in the near future

The NDA on the 790i Ultra's are lifted next week, if you could hang on then that'd be a great option as the early reports are VERY promising, just depends if you can stretch to DDR3, unfortunately it's still prohibitively expensive for most.
