Hi guys. I'm going to be buying a pc for gaming soon and was looking at this

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £760.64 (includes shipping: £11.70)

I have a few questions I hope you guys can help with.

1. Are there any changes you would make to this to increase performance for a similar price?
2. There are a lot of 1060 gpu's. would a different one offer more performance?
3. Is the 550w power supply enough? And is that one any good?
4. I also need a monitor but not too sure what to look for. What is important to have for gaming?

Thanks for your time. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

2. Current generation graphics cards all perform quite similarly, if they're kept cool. So the main differences are cooling and the warranty/level of support which varies by manufacturer. EVGA are known for good support, can't say much more. But performance wise they're all very alike.

3. That's plenty of power - about 180W for graphics card so that leaves plenty for CPU, drives and cooling. Gold rated is a good choice.

4. If strictly gaming you might want higher refresh rates, or at least faster pixel response. IPS panels look nicer and have better viewing angles, but slower responses can cause motion blur. TN panels are faster but have less vivid colour and poor viewing angles. I'd say for competitive gaming and shooters, you want a fast screen, otherwise it's a tossup between sharpness, image quality and cost. Reviews are your friend :)

I'd also suggest adding in a case fan or two. More fans running slower can be quieter than a single fan at high speed. I'd leave suggestions of alternative parts to others as I often buy second hand.

16GB upgrade, drop down to 450w unit (best budget but still a tier 2/1 psu unit)
