I need healthy Chicken Seasonings!

Right, so I'm basically looking for your chicken seasoning recipes...

Small spices etc... combined, or even sauces or something....

Definitely would like it to be quite healthy mind...

just made this tonight on grilled chicken breast was pretty awsome :D

1 lb Fresh Tomatoes
4 - 8 Hot Chiles (Red Habanero's are best)
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp Garlic salt
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp white sugar
 
I wouldnt mind seeing some nice recipes posted up too :D

Bulking with Chicken\Fish Oatmeal and Protein shakes gets boring. need variety! :p

So I'll be watching this thread with interest
 
Mentioned it before in La Cuisine threads. If we are talking chicken breasts then rub some oilve oil on it, season it well, coarse ground sea salt and feshly ground black pepper (both sides) and set it into a hot frying pan. Cook both sides then pour a little of whatever you fancy onto it. I use a drop of whatever beer I have in fridge, it doesn't take a lot just a splash to almost deglaze the pan and then cover pan with a lid and reduce heat. This helps create steam to aid cooking and also keeps the chicken moist, but the clever part is that as the liquid reduces it leaves a lovely almost sticky like coating. Just repeat it a few times until cooked through and then serve or save later for sandwiches :)

Hmm, looks good, definitely need something non-alcoholic (I know the alcohol will burn off, I'm thinking more from a nutrients perspective)... But sounds like it might be a good place to start...

Will probably be Chicken Breasts, but I'm also thinking drumsticks/wings will be common if I can find them cheep xD

Doesn't have to be beer matey, try it with orange or some other citrus type drink served with a nice salad :)

What do you mean from a nutrients perspective? That doesn't make any sense.

Look up chicken Marsala, it is a v quick deliscious Italian way of serving chicken.

Flatten your chicken breasts with a rolling pin
Put a little bit of flour with salt and pepper on a plate.
Drag the chicken through so that it is lightly dusted.
Fry the chicken in a little bit of oil or butter. 2-3 min each side.
You can cook some mushrooms or onions with the chicken.
When browned bth sides chuck in some Marsala, turn the heat right down and reduce until you have a nice thick source.

You could eat it on its own, but would be nice with potato's or rice.
