I need help finding a motherboard for the 4960x Ivy bridge E cpu

I tried the "ASUS RAMPAGE IV EXTREME Intel X79" and the bios even when taken to a tech repair firm and flashed to the latest version, did not work. It simply would not detect the CPU. Apparently, It would need a new bios chip installing to be able to handle it (according to the ROG forums this issue has happened many times and the only fix was a new chip). All the other components were tested and are working perfectly, so I know it was the motherboard.

My question is, does anybody know a motherboard that out of the box will have the right bios version and support for this CPU without the need to change the bios chip? I have about £500 to sink into this if needed.

Rampage IV extreme black edition and the evga dark should both come out of the box ready for ivy e.

Btw, save your self £500 & get the 4930k, essentially the same chip just half the price.
