I NEED HELP! Please!

I know I keep asking questions, but I'm pretty new to this and thought you guys could help me out. Basically, I want to spend about £200 on a Graphics Card(s), but I really don't know which one to get. I'll stretch a bit more if it's worth it. For example, I was looking at buying two XFX ATI Radeon HD 4870 for about £230, but to be honest, I don't know anything about them. Suggestions please.

P.S. Screen resolution is 1920X1080.

Hmm, wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy two separately and connect them?

My CPU is a:
AMD Phenom II X3 720 @2.8 GHz without overclocking. And DavyBoy I would prefer to go with ATI as I feel you get more for your money.

Would you say I was better off getting the 1Ghz ATI 4890 or two seperate 4870 512mb?

OK then, I've gone for the 'screamer' 4890. What kind of PSU would I need to power it?
