I've just had a DVI cable from OCUK delivered and i have just plugged it into my pc and my 32" TV. It has automatically gone to 1280x720 resolution, but some of the pixels are not on my screen, it is really weird.

On the bottom and top i am missing half of the toolbars, and on the sides i am missing a bit too.

I have tried every resolution and each one doesn't fit onto the screen right. I've had this working perfectly for ages with a VGA cable.

What have i done wrong?

If the spec is the one in your signature, then open up the ATi Catalyst centre and click on the tab which shows your monitor and the option should be there, Sorry can't be more precise it's been a while since I looked :p

This will allow you to bring the sides in and not overhang.

I cant find this either, on ATi Catalyst Centre, i can only change my resolution, not bring the sides in :(

I finally found it!!!

It was buried away in the advanced settings, thankyou so much everyone that helped!!!

Merry Christmas:D

1) ATI Catalyst toolbar icon, right click, click Catalyst Control Centre (In refuse to spell it wrong)

2) Graphics button, left click, Desktops and Display, left click, Desktop and Displays

3) Right click your TV's icon and choose Configure.

4) Go to 'scaling options' tab and move the slider, I think it'll get smaller as you tend towards underscan. I needed to move mine a couple of notches on my 1080p TV.

Yeah, thats what i eventually found, should've checked back here quicker :(

Thanks anyway :D
