I need help upgrading

First off, I hope I'm posting this in the right area but here goes. I am looking to upgrade my PC to a newer one. I have found a budget of around £1,200 and would like to get the best possible set-up for my budget. My current set-up is:

Case: Antec One Midi Tower Case
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC - 2 GB WINDFORCE
Processor: Intel Core i5 3570 @ 3.4GHz.
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V
RAM: Kingston 8GB 1600MHz
PSU: Corsair TX 750W

Now I was looking through and I found these two items:

Now, the issue I have is that I don't have a lot of knowledge on PC components and what-not but I would like to use some of my parts from my current PC. So the question I have come here to ask you intelligent beings today is, is there better hardware for the money out there? Are these the best components to go with? Can I keep my current PSU? Instead of going with a i7-6700K should I save money and go for a 4790k? etc.

You've got a z87 board right there, just update the Bios and buy a 4790k and a 980ti. Cheapest option, means you can splash out on a monitor and buy yourself an SSD

I just checked and it shows the 980 8Pack Edition clocks higher than the standard 980Ti and it's cheaper. Is there any advantage to go for a 980Ti over the 8Pack? I sort of want to spend the whole £1,200 and get the most powerful PC I can get. Also, I've recently purchased the BenQ-XL2411Z so I'm good for monitors.

It's not all about clock speeds. The 980ti is a better card, more VRAM, more cuda cores. You want the whole £1200 spent?

Are you fused about having a 6*** Series, they really aren't any better than DC (The 4*** Series) and it'll leave you more money for other parts?

Edit: Also the 980 8pack edition requires a 750W premium PSU, I'm not saying yours is bad but.... Put it this way 8 pack didn't do that overclock on your PSU. :)

Oh right okay, and yeah I mean I feel like I wont have this opportunity again and I want to get the most I can at the moment because literally that £1,200 is spare. I just thought 6*** was better than the 4***. The computer will be used for GTA V and Fallout 4 etc (with mods) so I was hoping to get ultra on those with also the hope of future-proofing it for a while for the next batch of games to come off of the shelves. This build is hopefully going to get me the MAX FPS possible.

On the note of the PSU, what PSU do you recommend me getting?
