Hi All,
I'm a new poster here so please be patient with me !!! I've looked through the sections here and couldnt find anything specific relating to what I want (dont roast me if I missed something). I have built a teensie tiny ITX build that is so minimal in size I am struggling to find a case for it !!!!! easy peasy I hear you all say, and yes, there are literally hundreds of cases out there for ITX builds but I am after something specific, and that is why I need you good people of help me please ????
I am looking for a small ITX case to take a low power system that does not require space for a power supply (powered externally by a DC jack), it needs a mounting space for a low profile pcie slot pref. horizontally, above the motherboard (its a graphics card, size isnt really a factor I can match a card to fit). Space to mount a SSD would be nice too, but not necessary.
Anybody got any suggestions ? I could go down the 3d print route but I am really looking for an off the shelf solution. Yes, I could go Pi or "breadboard" size solution (I have two of those already) but I wanted a x86 solution to connect to my living room TV for "stuff" mainly to add to the network. Built my 1st PC in 1986 and have been building AT and ATX since, this is my fist foray into mini ITX quiet systems and I have to admit I am enjoying the prospect of building a small, yet powerful, x86 PC that I can put anywhere and not keep me awake at night with noise and the dread of the electric bill coming though next month if I leave it running all the time.
Regards,
Mike.
