I need help with my monitor

Yesterday, I decided to overclock my monitor usung Nvidia control panel to set my refresh rate from 60hz to 70hz this used to work but now when I boot into windows, I can't login it's just a black screen, I booted into safe mode and tried doing some stuff and out of my frustration and little thinking I deleted the Nvidia corporation folder
(I can't give any specs of hardware since I'm out of the house)
Any help appreciated

Try safe mode with networking and download the Nvidia driver. Do a custom and clean install and that should revert the monitor overclock.

You didn't say whether you still have safe mode access after deleting that folder. Does your CPU have onboard graphics?

Maybe try connecting the monitor to a different PC.

I fixed this earlier by switching the two HDMI cables around and then it started working, i installed NVIDIA geforce experience after that, thanks for the help anyway

Actually should have thought of that but didn't - I had noticed when swapping HDMI ports on my monitor that the overclock went away.
