i need help with my ps3

ive been playing it fine through HDMI for the last few days. However, I brought it home and tried playing it through the AV cable but theres nothing coming through. Just a black screen and no sound, only a flicker when it turns on.

any suggestions?

Did you switch to AV in the settings before changing the cable? i think there is a master reset but no sure what, hold power button for about 10 seconds i think?

Hold the power button down for 5 seconds, it resets the video settings so that you can use the Multi AV port.

IIRC press and hold the power button until it beeps again when you turn it on and it will revert everything to default
