Hi,
I'm currently looking to overclock my X4 9950 Phenom (with the M3A79-T Deluxe), I've giving it a small boost to 2.8Ghz so far (200*14) but,

I need to change the FSB:DRAM ratio that it reported in CPU-Z, and I'm not sure what setting I need to change in the bios.
It is currently reporting a 1:2 relationship. I think this is stopping me from clocking higher at the moment because it causes my RAM to clock too high.

Thanks

Also, what NB voltage should I be looking to use, it's set to auto at the mo.

you need to use the ratio to find a setting where your ram runs at or below its rated speed

with the NB - take it off auto
when you press + on the num pad - it should go onto stock [will say what stock setting is on the top right of the bios

Woo, I'm getting somewhere finally.

Currently clocked at 2.99Ghz (230*13)

I'm gonna go until the RAM can't take anymore (seeing as I can't find the setting to change the FSB: DRAM ratio) or the temp gets too high under loading (it's peaking at 58°c at the mo, which is quite hot)

I'll be happy, for now, to break 3Ghz and have a stable 24/7 runner.
