Hey guys
I need a new pc, and it needs to run FS 2013 and also be used for word processing, and internet browsing. I have a budget of £500 but this must include OS (windows 7) and keyboard and mouse, and if possible a monitor (not that important as i have a tv i can use).

Here are the minimum requirements for FS 2013

CPU:

Info

CPU Speed:

AMD/INTEL 2.0 GHZ

RAM:

1024 MB

OS:

WINDOWS XP SP3/WINDOWS VISTA SP2/WINDOWS 7

Video Card:

256 MB OF VIDEO MEMORY ATI RADEON X1600/NVIDIA GEFORCE 7600/INTEL HD 2000 OR HIGHER

Sound Card:

Yes

Free Disk Space:

1 GB

Thank you in advance
Martin

I would remove the link before an admin finds it. You'll get a telling off. Not allowed to link to competitors.

What's your budget?

About £500
Ideally that would be with an OS (Windows 7) and a keyboard and mouse. I dont need a monitor as I can use my TV for that. Would like to run FS 2013 on high settings and use word, internet browsing and maybe some use of blender, though that is not that important

The CPU has integrated graphics which will suit you perfectly, matched with quick RAM will give you great graphics results.

Would that be massively difficult to assemble, of not? I am a complete novice at this....

It would be really easy if you can spare the time and look up guides on how to build it. The price you would pay for a pre-build would reduce the performance of the PC. You'll get better value/performance if you build yourself.

Yeah, kinda figured that, and the integrated graphics would run fs 2013 on a medium to high setting, with mods? I guess if it wasnt quite enough, I would be able to add a seperate graphics card later on.

I can also take the monitor off that price, as I have a tv i can connect to, providing this has a HDMI port?

The integrated graphics on the CPU (APU) can run the likes of BF3, Crysis, FarCry on med/high, I think you'll be fine with FS2013.

It doesn't look overly hungry on the graphics from what I can see.

I only have a £500 budget for everything, the first combo looks good, would I need thermal paste or anything other than a screwdriver and cable ties to assemble it?

The stock cooler on the A10 will have thermal paste pre-applied as a pad.

Screwdriver & Cable Ties are about it!

Does that have a DVD/CD drive included or not?

Nice spot, sorry I missed it out.

Yeah, found that one, so, I might be able to get a student edition of windows, as I'm a student, and i already have a monitor, so i can take off £170 straight away from the first combo. should be able to do it for about £370?
