I need some help please man, brand newly built pc randomly shut down!

The board you listed has two full size PCIE slots, other one is right at the bottom above all the audio and usb and button headers.

But seeing as it's already causing something weird, and another card does work in the top slot, and your seller appears to be offering a refund? I'd take the refund and get back to looking for another card without risking any more working hardware.

My brothers power supply is a little older and maybe the new Corsair one I am using has a good safety feature to stop this GPU from frying my whole setup, he would literally kill me if I damaged any of his components.

I guess I'll take the refund, no idea how I'm going to get a GPU, this seemed like my only hope in the current climate.

Yep it sucks, mega demand means what you can see are the most suspect and/or overpriced cards.

Someone selling hundreds of 470, 480, 570, 580 or 1060 cards? They're all out of a mining farm and they can't believe their luck that after so many years running the cards 24/7 they can sell the cards for the same price they bought them for.

Infuriating state of affairs, it really is. I also just splashed out £100 on Steam games which I now can't play and probably won't be able to for a long while.

I just want to buy a decent GPU from a trusted retailer but can't, I've never in my life been in this sort of situation as a consumer.
