A good friend from our gaming community (an elderly gentleman), his wife has been diagnosed with skin cancer. Now I won't bore you with the specifics but as a community we've got about £100 together to buy them some flowers and hopefully a decent meal.
They live in Ipswich, can any of you guys recommend a decent restaurant? I can up the budget a bit for a good place but it needs to stay reasonable.
I don't know what food they enjoy, she could be a veggie for all I know so that's something we need to take in to consideration as well.
Other options are things like red letter days, there is a decent Thames dinner cruise option which is a bit over budget but we could still manage it. I have no idea about RLDs, they could be completely crap for all I know.
So GD, any ideas?
