I need the windows activation app.

Hi,

My computer does not have the windows activation application so i cant validate it.

Can someone please copy there 'C:\Windows\System32\oobe' and send me it;

I cant see it anywhere on the site. Im running a corperate version of windows and im informed the windows activation app was not included in it....

If it was a corporate version of windows it wouldn't need activating. I've never had to activate a corporate version.

Why are you running XP Corp?.. and more to the point, if you are meant to be, you should really know that it works with VLK's meaning it does not need activation

I think its a corperate version.

Im getting the 'windows is not activated' message but I cant as I have not got the application todo so.

Ive posted this on the microsoft forums as well so maybe they can help. Im sure though if I could get hold of the application everything would be ok.

The corporate license must have been used up, you don't need to activate corporate... do you?

nope, it's not 'corp" XP you got, VLK does NOT use activation

so your XP is retail or OEM, so sounds like the activation application got removed/hacked/cracked

If you have a volume license then you won't need to activate it.

This all seems a bit suspect to me. I imagine someone with a genuine volume license would be able to spell corporate as well, but you never know.
