Thinking outside the box here.

How about a text document that is created on the drive which you then leave an object on a key, letting the key press indefinatly creating a 500GB text document which fills the harddrive and overwrites existing data, repeat 8 times for security and wa laa......................................................

Oh man I only did it for a laugh get a grip. jees

EDIT: IMO use boot and nuke if you have important data on there and your selling it on ebay.
 
quick question about dban - do you load it up on what media you want, e.g. floppy disk, cdw-w, usb drive etc.

Power down

take out the hard discs you want to keep, leave in the ones you want

Power up

Let it do it's thing.

power down

put back in discs you wanted to origionally keep

power up?
