I need to do something simple - taking bets now...

For the first time since getting it, I need to top up the washer fluid in the Alfa.

I've not read the manual and I have no idea where the filler is although I do know how to open the bonnet.

Taking bets on how long it is going to take to accomplish this ridiculously simple task

Use the special anti algae fluid from BMW, it will make your car more reliable....fact!

Just look for the lid that has a (O) logo on the top. Knowing Alfa, that's probably the washer fluid container.

knowing Alfa, you'll have to remove most of the front end and inner wings only to put it all back togethter again and either.....

a) the bit left over will be your washer bottle
or
b) the washer bottle will be in the boot

Pull the little blue tube up, will be easier to pour and it includes a strainer.

If its like my 147 it'll be on the left coming out from under the wing a little about 50p size tube with a blue cap

On an only slightly related note, has anyone else noticed that Tescos air and water machines are now doing premixed screen wash on tap? Win.

My local one also had a sign, hand written, that said "do not drink"

How much does it cost? Their 5l ready mixed bottles are only about £3 anyway.

Over a week, the bonnet release will snap off in your hand resulting in a booking in at the Alfa dealer to rectify the problem and also top up the fluid whilst its there

Have you noticed where it's located in the Accord? I never failed to splash the ABS pump when I filled mine up
