I need to improve upload speed

My company doesn't have access to SDSL and is not in a LLU area. We have two broadband connections through two ISPs at the moment, but I've been tasked with improving upload speed. I suspect the only practical options would be leased line or bonded ADSL. We currently see about 300-400kbps on a normal day, but we would like 1Mbps, or more.

Would anyone be able to recommend any ISP for either technologies?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi, we have two ADSL Max lines (not bonded), but I didn't think ADSL could ever be guaranteed to give near maximum speed? Samknows shows that FFTC, nor 21CN is available at our exchange.

Even though my boss has asked to look into 1Mbps, I'd imagine as we occasionally have to shift 2 or 3GB files, we would need more.

A DVD might be what we end up doing. The problem is: according to Samknows, our exchange only has ADSL and ADSL Max available.

So it would seem bonded ADSL Max or Leased Line are my only current practical options beyond Postman Pat.

Has anyone got experience with Bonded ADSL? Or 'inexpensive' Leased Line?

Can you post the connection statistics from your router? Particularly, the attenuation, Signal to Noise Margin (or "SNRM" .. or similar), and its reported connection speed.

Could you possibly upload things overnight? Or, if infrequent, could you possibly ever post things? Never underestimate the bandwidth of a postman carrying a few DVDs in their bag ;)

Here you go!

Thanks for the replies guys; my hope was that I could hear from some people who have used bonded ADSL or similar, and what it might be like, or could recommend any suppliers.

Cheers
