well, the particular laptop has a 1 month HDD so I dont think its the disk...
I've tried putting it into IDE mode, nothing happened, now I'm just reinstalling windows 7.
The friend who had it told me he couldn't install windows, so I guess this is taking me somewhere now. After I install windows I'll run every test I can to all hardware to test if anything is indeed corrupted and causing this problem.
tried memory diagnostics, memory passed, I'm trying a Repair Windows before installing them again.
meh, pressed Repair and still screen is on windows wallpaper and mouse rarely moves.
