I own a 7600gt, but want to upgrade. Advice?

I own a 3DFuzion GeForce 7600 GT 256MB PCI-E.

Want to spend around £150-160

My 7600gt is noisey, so I am interested in a quieter card.

Depending on what you get for your 7600GT, you could get something like a x1900xt.

Are you happy with the performance?

If so go for an upgrade on cooler for the card... save some cash... but sound like your itching to spend some cash....more than that required for a fan/cooler upgrade!

The only game I own is CSS. I'm probably gonna get FEAR expansion pack though.

The fan noise on my 7600gt annoys me. Everytime I play a DVD the fan kicks in. Performace is ok.

if all you play is css then just get a zalman for your card, it sort the noise out fine

Upgrade the cooler is my advice, there are lots of options just check out OCUK site and pick a low noise solution....

Yeah the 7600GT seems to use the same crappy heatsink as the 7900GT.

I had to replace the stock cooler on my 7900GT with a Zalman.

Its the only way to go.
