I phone 4 screen replacement

Cracked the bottom of my screen, it still works though phone shop near work want £55 to fix it, don't really fancy that if I can do it for £20...

I'd imagine its pretty straight forward.....

but which replacement screen have people used, and what tools are needed..

Replacement screens seem to cost between £10 and £100...... are the cheap ones cheap for a reason?

I’ve done one on a 3s I would guess the 4 is more or less the same, it was very easy cost about £12 I think. Worked ok fitted ok couldn't fault it really. Get one that has the glass and digitizer together, otherwise getting the broken glass off with a heatgun is a pain. There are videos on YouTube on how to do it, can't go wrong really. Some of them sell the tools with the screen but all you really need are some small screwdrivers.
