So i was playing around with a OS, installed it on a partition and now I went into my primary OS and formated the partition that I installed the other OS on, but not my pc still asks what OS i want to boot, how do I remove this ?

Boot from the windows disk, enter the recovery console, and run the fixmbr command. This will rewrite the MBR and will eliminate entries for everything except for installed copies of Windows.

Edit the boot.ini file and remove the live that refers tot he OS you don't want it to list.

It is a lot less drastic this way too!

Root of c: drive usually, you may need to enable 'show hidden files'

open windows explorer
on the menu, Tools - Folder Options
View Tab
Show hidden files and folders

I used to have that username ;)
