So after 3 years of playing it and falling short of dowing Brutallus, I've decided to close the curtains on this game and its social aspect that kept me glued to it for a long long time. I deleted all my chars (incase I got tempted) and cancelled my account. I'm almost fearing my gaming life after WoW. Is there anything else I missed in MMO's or normal RPG's that's worth digging into ?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Anyone that ever raided high level content in WoW knows the teamwork that goes into it and the euphoria of a first kill. It is hard to walk away from that.

I ordered the Orange box and will get my teeth into TF2.

I must say, I'm quite happy. I got the usual replies from both camps. Both predictable.
I was not addicted. I played 3 days a week, 3-4 hours at a time which included a raid and grinding for potions and repair gold. Weekends I didn't play. So stop pretending you know my individual case. I've seen real WoW addiction, it was not me.

I had to quit since there was a change in my work schedule and indoor footie practice started again.
