I really need a Wii!!

Can any kind soul in the Oxford/Milton Keynes/Buckinghamshire area give me some idea of anywhere that still has a Wii in stock, I've tried everywhere to get one!!

edit: just thought this will only result in competitors, doh!

It willbe hard for people to help you without mentioning competitors. I would recommend calling ALL shops in your area (literally call all the major music shops, video game stores, supermarkets, everything) and see if they have one. If they do literally beg them to keep you one till you can get down there.

I think the auction-site-effect has kicked in and any Joe Bloggs that finds one in a shop anywhere will snap it up to flog it on at a marked-up price.

I've heard that more deliveries are being made next week, but not sure what your chances are of getting hold of one from these allocations.

Everywhere I tried today had pre-sold every unit. There might be some available by the middle of next week I reckon. Record stores and video rental stores seemed optimistic

I think auction is likely to be your best bet now, that or patience to wait until the new year.

I was gonna do this. There were 5 at a store near me but didn't bother in the end. Knowing my luck the price will have bottomed out by the time my listing ended.
Now knowing my luck they will all be going for £450 instead of £300!!

Might pop in tomoz see if they are still there

I have called loads of placed today. a lot of them have told me the same thing. They didnt even get any delivered or they didnt get enough to cover preorders... The magic of getting one has now gone.
