Is it any good, particularly for ps3? Or is it poor frame rate Vaselined poo, like most ps3 ports? How it the online? Is it like need for speed shift, where people like to play dogems rather than actually race?

Also do you reckon it's the type of game I will find cheap after xmas, as I can't bear the thought of spending more than £20 on a game. Unless it's uncharted 2 ofc.

I hated first Dirt.. but loved Dirt 2.. I say give it a shot. Buy it used or something to keep cost down :)

Edit: Demo was pants compared to the actual game :)

Buy the PC version its just come out & much better looking and only £17.95 if you look around the web also does not need a super powerful PC either to look good.

Dunno mate but I wanna know the same. From what AWPC says at that price & if it works sweet with my Momo it's a Must have.

Come on you lot Who has it ? What's it like & how does it sync with a wheel, Good Bad or Crap ???

I only played it on the 360, but it is an awesome arcade racer. One of the few games I've stuck with long enough to get 1000/1000 GP :D

Online racing though is full of retards, unless you play trailblazer or the rally stages where you're racing people's ghosts.

So lets get this straight, It's a Decent arcade racer that I can play on my PC using my Momo set up & still get my acheivement points, Sorry I am Old & Slow. :o + :p

If so "I'm in" :D +

Yep its all good & don't forget the free Tinker Arcade game for another 200 GS as well ;)

Well that's me Sold then.
I'll pop up the shop when I feel Brave enough for the Snow again, I am just defrosting after me dog walk. :p

It's fun but gets quite repetitive after a few races. London for example has about 2 tracks, which you have to race over and over.... kinda gets old

I have it on 360 and love it, currently waiting for it to appear in the sales for the PS3 for my dad for Christmas.

Why is the PS3 version nearly £40 and 360 version can be had for less than £20?

How is everybody controlling it on the PC?

360 controller? Wheel? Joystick? Keyboard? Thought control?

Just curious - I've never really played a racer on a PC.

I got in on PC for free :D My mate put together a new PC and got 2x free Dirt2's so gave me one of the steam codes
