I love the laptop and wanted to go ahead and install the extra 8GB of RAM (just to have something more complete). Unfortunately, doing this required me to unscrew the screw hidden beneath the sticker saying warranty is void if sticker is removed. I did this and installed the RAM no bother, but it bother's me that doing so would void my warranty considering my battery and fan's are contained inside and one day I might very well have to clean them etc. I've heard from other posts that in the UK removing the sticker and installing RAM does NOT in fact mess with the warranty as long as no damage was made to the machine during the installation of new hardware. I made very sure I was careful enough not to damage anything and adding the RAM turned out successful! My question is, where does my warranty stand now??
