I reckon Manchester United will win the 2006 Premiership (+Spoilers)

It may be quite a statement but, I just got a feeling, a hunch, a niggle, call it what you want and yeah you can even call me crazy but here's my thoughts.

Looking at Chelsea just 9 Points above Man U and the 2 teams remaining games I favour Man U to finish far stronger and Chelsea to have a *deserved* nightmare end to this years Premiership - This is just a thought once again.
However, easily possible - oh and for the record, Liverpool will beat them in the FA cup semi too.

Lets See.

I just don't see where chelsea will drop 9 points, surely man utd would need them to lose at least one of the games before they played them to really apply the pressure.

I forsee Chelsea can lose any of these games:

Chelsea v West Ham
Bolton v Chelsea
Chelsea v Everton
Chelsea v Man Utd
Blackburn v Chelsea

There will be added pressure from referees this weekend (fact) and going forward as the FA have expressed to Fifa how much more they want diving do be stamped out and lets be honest - Chelsea have the biggest offenders! I think this will not suit Chelsea's style of play and frutrate them, they are not a team that plays well under pressure from the ref (even their own fans boo Drogba on occassion) and mr Mourhino isnt exactly a cool customer - this filters through the team and overall, the blues believe they are above the game and the authority.
Man U are on a roll, their strikers are in form and hungry - They'll beat Chelsea (I believe on a gut instinct) and 6 points will be made up no problem - It wasnt too long ago when they nicked the premiership crown by 1 point so dont think it cant be done.

United will have too much for them.

Do you actually watch the games? Or do you just look at scorelines? Arsenal are playing the best football of they year right now, period, and any non-biased and open minded person will agree.

Although in my thread here, I have put my feelings out about Man U winning the prem this year - I didnt once say they will beat my beloved Arsenal.
Man U can afford to lose to Arsenal and still win the Premiership 2006 title, do you know why? Becuase Chelsea are not going to win it, again, its just my feelings.
Chelsea were terrible against Birmingham yesterday but come to think of it, the last game I saw Chelsea play decent football was against Colchester in the FA cup, that's not harsh, that's a factual opinion coming from someone who watches football to be entertained by professional players who hustle and work as a team and a unit.....This is NOT what Chelsea do.
They have a manager with a poor public attitude, who always pressures and over-rules officials and his attitude has filtered through to his players.
Not only do I believe Chelsea will fail to win it this year, I want them to.

I think the United Arsenal game will be affected a lot by what happens in Turin, if Arsenal get the floor wiped with them (especially seeing as Fabregas is injured) then I think they'll be a broken side.

Mate mate mate........Are you nuts? Without Fabregas you're suggesting theres potential for a 'floor wiping' - Do you actually watch football?
Fabregas did nothing against Villa on Saturday - erm, we didnt exactly struggle did we? and even if we do lose on Wednesday, We will not lose a single game for the rest of the season. plain and simple, Arsenal are playing the best football in Europe atm period - it is not a form thing either, its chemistry, simple ingredients making a faultless compound...that can be modified as much as you like but the key ingredient always remains.

I watch your games, you are hopeless away and have been beaten EASILY by medicore teams.

We have had moments of horror away...However, Real Madrid? Thats where EVERYTHING changed and nothing can take that away.
Every team in the prem has blipped away from home this season, Arsenal are no exception......But Saturday will be the last game Man U lose this year.

The fact that in 15 away games you have managed 13 goals is not filling me, or any other Man U fan with dread for this weekend.

Watching statistics again, rather than watching the game
If the recent performances of Arsenal against...Fulham, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Charlton, Juventus and Villa are not enough to get you concerned then maybe I'll brandish a recent stat your way:

In the last 6 games (Prem+CL) we've scored 16 goals and only conceded 1 - Every player has looked dangerous and composed, our defense has been like a rock, our midfield clinical and forwards...immense! and those 16 goals have been scored by 7, yes 7, different players!...True, away results speak for themselves but it has all changed since the bernabeu.

Judging by your research...You arent missing much, I am humbled - but my mind is not easily swayed by statistics...Don't forget, in starting this thread I have backed Man U to win the premiership this season and I know they are on an 8 game streak - but I prefer to watch the way teams are playing and I believe that Arsenal will beat Man U on the 9th, yet Man U will still win the premiership...again, this is my belief.

Arsenal would be lost Henry still remains the fact of the matter, if he goes to Barca then unless they buy 3 or 4 immensely big purchases they could be in Newcastles position in 5 years.

If Henry goes, so will the rest.

Losing Henry to Barcelona would be a massive loss not only to Arsenal but to the Premiership as a whole. My feelings at this time, as they always have been, are that Henry will sign a new contract and stay at Arsenal.
They would not need to sign 3 or 4 'immensely big purchases' if he left, we got Theo Walcott in waiting ;)
