OcUK, I am here in my hour of need to reassure myself that I haven't finally lost my mind.
Another "what game was this" thread reminded me of a childhood game, but I can't for the life of me find anything about it on the net, not even a picture. Surely I haven't made it up?!
I thought it was called Spellbound, and I remember it was MSDOS and Win 3.1. There were 5 levels, one of which was a city skyline as a helicopter, one underwater as a sub, and one in space. The aim of the game was to fly around and shoot various things that attacked you, in order to retrieve letters to spell the requested word.
You were limited on fuel as a timer. It ran fine on an old 386 system, and was 3.5" floppy based.
Please can someone find evidence that this existed so I don't convince myself I've lost the plot entirely?!
Thanks!!
